Alexandra Maia is CEO and Founder of House of Social. Her experience in digital social media started in Portugal, later shifting to the UK, then to Dubai along with the South East Asian market in Singapore.
Alexandra’s background is in the performing arts, where she discovered her passion for communication and psychology of human behavior.
For the past 9 years Alexandra has worked with several different agencies, enabling her to learn how to implement digital and social media with businesses and agency set ups.
Her aim is always to make brands more human on social and digital platforms and to deploy the creative strategies to make that happen.
Alexandra founded House of Social, a hybrid social media consultancy whose main mission is to help close the social media skill gap in a highly competitive and digitized world.
Alexandra has worked with clients including Intel, Disney, Bosch, Johnson & Johnson, MasterCard, GE, Bloomingdales, Dubai Tourism, Emirates NBD, Dubai Police Headquarters, and OSN.
