Sahar Naja Mahfouz is a Lebanese author for children who believes in one mission: “Writing for a Personality Development”. She found in the Arabic language the beauty, expressiveness and flexibility that bring a story alive. She writes for children and young adults and has more than 28 published stories, including The Story Maker, Bottles of the Sun and Milia the Giraffe. She is one of the writers of Iftah Ya Simsim, which is the Arabic version of Sesame Street.
She has participated in many exhibitions and Literature Festivals, has been a juror in many writing competitions, and has delivered various workshops for the schools and colleges. She is founder and coordinator of HUNNA, a group of female writers based in the UAE.
