Emirates Literature Foundation

Emirates Literature Foundation  is the year-round home of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature in the Al Shindagha Historical Neighbourhood, Dubai.

Emirates Literature Foundation is the home of the Festival’s Office and year-round venue in the historic heart of Dubai, minutes away from the souks, museums and the Dubai Creek.

By Car/Taxi

Emirates Literature Foundation is in the Al Shindagha Historical Neighbourhood in Bur Dubai – right next to the Creek, souk and Al Ghubaiba Bus Station. Paid car parking is available in Al Shindagha outside the Festival office. GPS coordinates 25.266616, 55.289969.

By Metro

Dubai Metro is the best way to reach Emirates Literature Foundation – Al Ghubaiba Station, on the Green Line. Take Exit 2 for the shortest walk to Emirates Literature Foundation/ Dubai International Writers’ Centre. As you exit the station, you will find yourself at a traffic junction. Walk back past the metro on the pavement till you reach the main road; then take right on the same pavement till you reach the Festival office.

By Bus

Al Ghubaiba Bus Station is 10 minutes’ walk from Emirates Literature Foundation and many bus routes from Dubai and the other Emirates stop here. Cross the road toward the Metro station and follow the instructions above for coming from the Metro station. The RTA’s route planner can help you find a suitable bus route.
