Daniel left Canada 23 years ago with a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Toronto and spent a year in Japan teaching English to children. From there he spent 3 years in Singapore, 6 months in Shanghai, 3 years in the Netherlands and over 16 years in Dubai.
His hobbies include reading (of course), water-skiing, stand up paddle boarding and scuba diving. Daniel is a sci-fi fanatic and has been a comic book and music collector since childhood. He speaks French (bilingual) and Japanese (conversation).
Daniel lives in Dubai with his wife and two children.
