Five-star holidays now available to the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature from £1049

Reading a good book on holiday is one of life’s greatest pleasures – now the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature is giving book lovers the chance to go one better and meet their favourite author. For the first time, holiday packages from the UK are available to the international segment of the Dubai festival (8-12 March 2016), recognised as one of the leading international events in the literary world.

Flights from the UK are with Emirates and accommodation is at the home of the Festival in Dubai Festival City, picturesquely situated on the banks of the Creek at either the five -star InterContinental or Crowne Plaza Hotels. Also included is a Freedom pass giving access to more than 200 of the main Festival sessions, plus tickets to the Celebration Night.

‘Visitors to the Festival will be staying at the heart of the action where you can immerse yourself in the literary world of inspiring writers and thinkers, or simply dip in and out of sessions in between lazing by the pool or doing a spot of sightseeing,’ said Isobel Abulhoul, CEO and Trustee of the Emirates Literature Foundation and Festival Director of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature. ‘With unlimited free access with the Freedom Pass, why not challenge yourself by going along to find out about an unfamiliar topic or discover a new genre, feeding the mind while you unwind. What holiday could be more perfect?’
