‘An exciting and inspiring three-day literature programme for university students from all over the Arab World’
University Day is an initiative to give literature lovers from across the region a chance to visit Dubai and meet and interact with their favorite authors. University Day will take place from March 8th – 10th at the 2018 Emirates Airline Festival of Literature.
Students will have the opportunity to attend up to ten sessions of authors at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature for a discounted rate of only AED 400. We have also asked our partners to offer discounted rates on flights and hotels!
Some of the authors at this year’s festival include: IPAF longlisted author, poet and translator Muhsin Al-Ramli, Nobel Prize Winner Mohammad Yunus, and Game of Thrones Animal Trainer Julie Tottman.

Programme Itinerary: 8 – 10 March, 2018
- 8 March – University Day schedule is set for all students to attend. Click here to download the schedule.
- 9 – 10 March – Each student can select 6 sessions of their choice to attend over the two days, out of 22 session options available for this programme. Sessions will be confirmed on a first come first serve basis. Click here to download the list of the sessions.
- 3 day festival cost per student: AED 400 only – All inclusive of university day and the 6 sessions of choice over the final festival weekend.
